This piece was created and entitled Obaa Mujer; meaning Women Women. The translation stems from the word women in Twi (from Ghana) and women in Spanish. It was a week full of joy, healing, growth and gratitude. But more importantly, a celebration of the strength, vulnerability and creativity of women and the importance of their stories. I am honoured to have been a part of this project. Both as an assistant and a photographer. Projects like this remind me of my love and passion for what we do as artists, the gratitude/joy it creates and the community it cultivates.
